Last Wednesday at the Community Center

This Wednesday will be our last youth group at the Community Center for this school year. I hope you will be able to come and hang out with us from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. We will be finishing up our series on growth. Creating ideal conditions and we will discuss the B.A.Y. Rally from last week. Hope to see you there!

B.A.Y. RALLY ON WEDNESDAY!!

Hey guys!  I hope you are having a swell day!!  I just wanted to let you all know that the B.A.Y. Rally is this coming Wednesday, April 21st.  We will be leaving from the church parking lot at 6:00 p.m. and hopefully returning around 9:15 p.m.  I am excited for this rally as it will be the concluding rally for FAME: Somebody's Always Watching!  Remember, you WILL NEED a permission slip filled out by your parents if you want to go!  I look forward to next week and spending time with you all!  Until then have a GREAT day and continue to grow in Him!

APRIL 2010

Hey! Can you believe it's April?!  I'm excited about our upcoming lesson that we will be having! I think about Spring and how it's a time of growth and starting tonight at youth group we will be discussing spiritual growth.  Specifically we will be looking at what it takes to grow spiritually.  We will also hang out and play some fun games too!  I hope to see you there tonight!  Remember...the doors open at 6:30 p.m.!

This Wednesday we will be meeting at Community Alliance Church at 7:00 p.m.  We will be hanging out and taking it easy.  We'll play some games and also have a lesson.  I really hope you will be able to make youth group this week!  It will be a lesson to hold onto!  Invite your friends!  We will be finishing around 8:30 p.m.  Have a great day guys!

One of the best things about my job is that I get to spend time with all of you guys!!  Sometimes schedules are busy and life is cruising and it's tough to get together and hang out.  BUT, for a limited time I so want to hang out and spend time with you all that I am offering to take you out to lunch ALL EXPENSES PAID!  All you have to do is let me know when you would like to go!!  It doesn't have to be a Friday either...it can be any day that work with our schedules!  Free Lunch Friday just kinda sounded cool to me I suppose.  I hope to be dining with ya soon!  Thanks for being a part of Champions for Christ!

Thanks for coming out last night...

Hey!  I want to thank everybody who showed up last night and made our first 3-0n-3 basketball tournament a success!  It was a lot of fun to see so many teams competing and having a good time!  Congratulations to those teams who took home the goods!  Thanks to our adults who helped officiate and keep score!  It was a fun night!!

Next Wednesday, we will resume our regular activities.  This means we will meet at the Community Center at 6:30 p.m. for some free time, organized games, an a lesson.  Below is a flier for an event coming up that I am excited about.  If you are an Aitkin student, this Thursday night event will rock for you because there is no school the next day.  If you are a Brainerd student it's a bit more complex because you do have school but if you want to go please let me know by this Wednesday!  It is going to be an awesome concert!!

The concert will be held at the New Song Cafe in Brainerd, MN.  The doors open @ 6:30 p.m. and we would try to leave the church around 5:30 p.m. to make sure we get in line for the event.  The event will be $8 at the door.
