IT'S BAY RALLY TIME!

Hey!  This Wednesday we will be attending the B.A.Y. Rally in Brainerd!  For those who signed up and told me they are going, I will see you on Wednesday!  I am excited to see what Dale and the Dream Team and put together!  We will be leaving the church at 6:00 p.m.  Don't forget your permission form!!  See you on Wednesday for FAME: Somebody's Always Watching.

Upcoming Event!!!

Hey everyone!  This past Wednesday was pretty fun and I look forward to this coming Wednesday as well!  We will be meeting at the Community Center from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  Invite a friend!  We will play some fun games, hang out, and I will continue to share a little bit of my story with you all.  Be sure to bring some spare change too if you want to score some snacks from our new snack shack!  See ya there!

Also!  As you can see in the picture above we have an event coming up on January 16th, 2010 from 6-9 p.m.  All students in grades 5-12 are invited to Community Alliance Church for video games, pizza, pop and more!  The cost for this event is $3.  I hope to see ya there!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!  I hope you all are enjoying your time off from school!  I just wanted to let you all know that you should have received a postcard in the mail from me a few days ago.  The postcard was to let you know that Champions for Christ youth group will be meeting at the Community Center on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30.  Students in grades 5-12 are welcomed and encouraged to attend!  We will play games, hang out, have a short lesson, and as always, we will have FUN!  I look forward to see you all there and check this website for OPEN GYM times and fun events that are coming up!  Take it easy!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!  I had a most excellent time this December hanging out with all of you!  Whether it was at the Community Center shooting hoops or at church talking about staying "connected", I had a blast!  Coming in January, starting on the 6th, we will be meeting at the Community Center on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.  There will be some free time, some organized games, a short Bible study, and then more games!  Also, keep your eyes peeled for an event coming on January 16th!  I wish you all a merry Christmas and I pray that you will take time to focus on Jesus this holiday season...after all, it is His birthday party =]  See you in January!

Yo!  I hope you all had a GREAT Thanksgiving!  No matter how much I eat and I just can never seem to get enough turkey!  Anyways, this Wednesday we are back at it!  We will be meeting at the Community Alliance Church in the lower level from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  We will play some games, hang out, talk, chill, and look at what it means to be "Connected".  I hope that you are able to make it out for this fun night!  See ya there!

NO OPEN GYM THIS NEXT WEDNESDAY!

Hey guys!  I had a great time last night at our Ping Pong Challenge!  Congratulations to Abel Palkie who went home with the grand prize of the night - a $25 gift card to Applebees!  Also, we extend our congratulations to Allison Nelson who took home the runner-up prize.  She went away with a Mega-Size box of Mike n' Ikes!  For the rest of November we will not be meeting on Wednesday nights at the Community Center.  You are all still welcome to come on Thursday and Saturday evenings from 6-8 p.m.  If you need to know if we will be open or not the schedule is on this website on the right hand column....just scroll down.  This Wednesday if you are looking for something to do, I invite you to attend our Thanksgiving Eve Service at Community Alliance Church at 7 p.m.  Other than that have a great Thanksgiving break and enjoy time with family and friends as you celebrate all that you are blessed with!  It's been a fun month!  Later!

Prepare for a Ping Pong Challenge this coming Wednesday!!

Hey guys!!  Dodgeball was tight!  I had a lot of fun and I hope that you did too!!  We will definitely have to play that again soon!!  Next Wednesday the Community Center will be open and we will be having a single elimination ping pong tournament!  There is a $20 prize for the winner so you best be brushing up on your pong skills now!  I won't be playing this time so don't fear!  You won't have to face Levi :P  Thanks to everyone who came and played dodgeball!  Let's have fun next week playing ping pong and other games too!  If you want more information feel free to contact me through e-mail: bordeslk@hotmail.com.  Have a great day!
